About this concept

What this is, what it isn't, and how we handle it.

This is a design concept made by Clearview as part of our proposal for the City of Edgerton's City Website Redesign and Codification System. It isn't the City's website, and nothing here replaces the City's official information. For anything you need to act on, use edgertonks.org.

What it shows

  • The code library: Chapter II. Animals, converted from the City's PDF into sections with their own links and ordinance history, and searchable.
  • Meetings and packets: the City's real 10 September 2026 agenda as a web page, and the 2026 record in one list.
  • Documents and retention: a document library with type, department and date.
  • Alerts: the City's real water advisory, shown the way an alert would run.
  • Calendar: City events in month and list views, with recreation programs drawn from the City's CivicRec feed.

What it isn't

  • Not the official website, and not the production platform. The proposal builds the new site on WordPress, in the City's own hosting account; this concept is built on Nanopage, a site platform Clearview is involved in building through our CTO, Jasmin Ihtijarevic, and it's how we prototype. Nothing in the proposal depends on it.
  • Not a rebrand. The logo and colours are the City's own, from its current website.
  • Not complete. About 15 pages, enough to show the four workflows; most links to inner pages open the City's current site.
  • Nothing invented. Text, meetings, documents, events and news come from the City's published website. Anything drawn rather than sourced (the staff screens) is labelled illustrative, and anything we couldn't confirm says To confirm.

How we handle it

The concept is unlisted and excluded from search engines. It exists for the City's evaluation only, and we'll take it down whenever the City asks. Content was captured from edgertonks.org in October 2026 and may have changed since.

Accessibility

Built and tested to WCAG 2.2 AA: automated checks (axe-core) on every page with the design notes on and off, keyboard use, 200% text and 320-pixel-wide screens. The City's lime and orange are used for decoration only, because neither has enough contrast for text on white; text and buttons use the City's brown.
