How do I register my utility vehicle with the City?
Under Ordinance No. 2086 , the City of Edgerton is permitting unconventional vehicles to drive on City streets with speed limits less than 35 mph. UTVs, golf carts, and other unconventional vehicles must have headlights, taillights, brake lights, turn signals and at least one rearview mirror to pass inspection. Permit applications are available to pick up at City Hall during normal business hours. You can also find more information about the new ordinance and download a permit application.
How do I comply with City rules for installing a new pool?
The City of Edgerton does require a building permit for pools. There are also requirements for fencing and setbacks. Please see the link below for more details.
How do I bid on City projects?
Edgerton utilizes a competitive public bidding process to award contracts to vendors for City projects. Please see available opportunities.
How do I pay my utility bill?
The City of Edgerton has partnered with an online payment vendor for all city utilities. You can pay your Edgerton utility bill and access your Edgerton utility account online. You can pay your bill online here , or you may refer to our Utilities page for more information.
How do I apply for a business license?
The City has launched a new licensing portal. Go to municipalonlinepayments.com/edgertonks to sign up for a portal account. How do I report a pot hole?
To report a pot hole online, please fill out this form and submit it online. Or, you may also call City Hall at 913-893-6231 and ask for our Public Works department. They will be able to assist you and give you a timeline for repair.
